Overview
Shoulder subluxation is a temporary, partial dislocation of the shoulder joint.
Symptoms
Feeling that your shoulder is going “in and out” of joint
Looseness in the shoulder
Pain, weakness or numbness in your shoulder or arm
Causes
Falls onto outstretched arm
Direct blows to shoulder
Throwing
Diagnosis
Physical examination and medical history consultation
X-rays
Treatment
Application of ice
Anti-inflammatory medications
Physical therapy
